Great Leadership Lessons (Blog List)

This is a list and link for all the articles I posted in the series - Jim Collins and Great Leadership Lessons.
The order of notes is the order of my own reflections on my re-reading of these books. Since I had not read Built to Last for many years, I read the one first. I then worked through How the Mighty Fall. I saved for last, the book which I had read several times - From Good to Great. The logical order in which the notes should be read is:

From Good to Great - on becoming a great organization. (Coming in 2015)
Built to Last - on remaining a great organization. Notes 01 - 18.
How the Mighty Fall - on why we don't sustain greatness. Notes 19 - 31.

Great Leadership Lessons from How the Mighty Fall
This series of posts is on the third book by Jim Collins in his trilogy. Collins was intrigued by this question: Why is it that companies which made the transition from being good to becoming great, and which kept sustained greatness for a time, eventually went into decline. The first note on Great Leadership in this series is Note 19.

Great Leadership Lessons from Built to Last.
This was the first series of articles I did. This is the first core book Jim Collins wrote. Sequentially, the theme is how Great Organizations are sustained over time. This is not how they become great, but how they sustain greatness.
