Life Long Learning: Favorite Quotes

Anyone who stops learning is old whether at twenty or eighty.
Anyone who keeps learning stays young.
Henry Ford

If you follow this blog or read any of The Exercises I have written, you know I love the great insights and gems of wisdom that are found in quotes. You also know that I am an avid Life Long Learner. I believe the best leaders are outstanding learners. They are also outstanding "executors" of what they learn. Leading is more then thinking and having inspiring ideas. Leadership is the ability to then bring into reality the ideas that matter the most. But, this post is to give you a good sampling of my favorite quotes on learning.

Read them over.
Linger a bit on ones that get your attention.

The Reflection Questions

  • Which of the above quotes really spoke to you . . . and what were you hearing in the quote?
  • How are you doing right now with your own Life Long Learning?
  • Do you have persistent and consistent patterns of learning?
  • What is on the front burner of your learning right now?
  • How well are you integrating what you are learning?

May you have all the grace needed to be an avid learner who then leads out of a full mind and heart.
